Sustainable Investment
Statkraft and Eco2 are committed to being good neighbours and making a lasting, positive impact on the local community.
If approved, Lluest y Gwynt Wind Farm and Grid Connection will deliver an innovative sustainable investment package, made available for the lifetime of the project. The value of this will be based on £5,000 per MW installed (RPI Index linked).
During the course of our engagement and consultation for Lluest y Gwynt Wind Farm and Grid Connection, we have worked with residents and organisations to shape our investment into the community in a way that truly works for them.
We welcome insight from the local community about specific community organisations that might be able to benefit from the community benefit fund.
Up to £252,000 per year
- Initiatives could include:
- Measures to improve energy efficiency;
- The provision of apprenticeships and training;
- Improving access to sport and leisure activities;
- Promoting Welsh culture and heritage;
- Local infrastructure improvements;
- Environmental initiatives;
- Business growth and job creation;
- Funding of community projects; and
- Local ownership.
